AVG warning

AVG Update Manager flashed up tonight saying that I had "A.bin file missing"
What's a bin file, is it important, how did it go missing and can I retrieve it again? Help!

Aye, it's important as without it you'll not be able to update your virus definitions properly. Don't worry, it's not your system at fault, just a faulty update from AVG.

My advice would be to just to re-install AVG. If that fails, uninstall AVG then re-install it.

My AVg did that but i just installed lastest update and that sorted it.

Unfortunately even after updating, the message was still there. Uninstalling and reinstalling has done the trick and I'm all protected again. Phew!
