We know thats there's a pair of buzzards living over at the forest walk and today we could hear one of them making a strange calling noise from where we park the car.
We started our walk and the bird continued calling out.It didnt stop calling until we were pratically on top of the poor bird.It had been sitting on a large tree.Even having the dog with us didnt frighten it away,it was Mr Cp approaching the tree that made it fly off.

No idea whats happened but the call was so distressing too here. The birds colouring was lighter with more white in it,Is that indicative of a younger bird?:confused.Could it have been ejected from its nest ?:(

I am in no way an expert but it will probably be a youngster from the colouring and the calls could be for a few reasons.

It could be the parents have finally left it to fend for itself and it still wants to be fed by its parents, or its parents could be away hunting and its shouting that it wants fed.
I am sure someone else will have a good idea.
