Bard Loaf

[arana negra]

1 cupful water
1 cupful sugar
1 cupful sultanans or mixed fruit

1/4 lb marg
level teaspoon Bic Soda

put all the above ingredients in a pot and bring to the boil, simmer for 20 mins. Leave to cool, then add

2 cupsful S.R flour
2 beaten eggs

Turn into a greased lined loaf tin and bake at 375 for 1 hour and a 1/4.
