Looks like a rather bedraggled pheasant to me but I'm sure someone will correct me if not. I hope you gave it a towel!;)

Have a look at the beak and claws on the birdie that is no pheasant it is a wet buzzard! perhaps been soaked by rain or had a bath but none the less a buzzard!

To be honest Torvaig, as we sat in the car laughing at him and trying to get a snap of him. The look on his face was priceless! He'd hop off a few steps and then turn around and glare at us indignantly, toddler style. You know...
