Was just wondering if you had family or friends up to stay with you (in wick) for a weekend say, friday, saturday and sunday, where would be the places you'd take them?

Hello
We have not long returned from a visit to the Castle Of Mey and I can thoroughly recommend it.
My daughters are 7 and 3 and on buying the tickets for the tour of the castle the lady gave my eldest daughter a list of things that she had to find in each of the different rooms of the castle. She loved it!!!! It kept her entertained whilst we were having a look around.
We started by browsing around the gardens (which were beautiful) but the rain had us heading for the castle! There is also a little "animal farm" at the back of the castle with goats, sheep, chicks, ducks etc etc. The girls got to feed the lambs and hold the new born chicks.
A great day out for everyone - I went out with the girls, nana and grandad and we all had a great day :)
Definately worth going to.

I'd take em on a longish drive to Durness and back. Pause at Tongue for lunch.
