AVG 8.0 problems

I am trying to uninstall AVG 8.0 but when I try I get this message Installer initialization failed due to the following error:
Warning: Internal error. Dialog with id "Avg4EsDlg" was not found in the setup.
I am trying to uninstall as every time I try to use it at all it comes up with error reports.
Any help??

This may sound daft however have you tried installing it again? Once you do that you may be able to uninstall it properly and then reinstall it again and hopefully this time it will work.

I don't use AVG so it may not let you install it again, however give it a go and come back with an update.
