Seeing as we had the thread on best comedy film what would be your worst comedy film or film that tried to be funny. My minds gone kinda blank but Ace Ventura pet detective and cable guy are up high on my list.
A few years ago there was a set of TV programmes on "B" movies from the 1950s which were put out as "Horror Movies". They were so bad that they were a complete success because rather than "Horror" they were so pathetic that they were hysterical.
One was a "Monster" which even a five year old could see was nothing more than somebody with a woolly rug thrown over them.
Top 10 that I can think of right now.....

i agree
maybe we are young at heart :L
My kids and I loved Johnny English! :) FANDANGO...............!
The Morecambe and Wise films were fairly dire and the On the buses holiday films.
Father of the Bride, Kooky friday were rubbish.
Stakeout 2 was a very poor follow-up to the original which was brilliant.
Police Academy II through to the end one were laughable and I don't mean in a funny way.
i thought the epic movie was rubbish i normally like rip takes of films but that one stank lol

I'd definately agree with you there!
But yeah, anything like American Pies, Borat, Epic movie etcetc are all deeply unfunny.

i luved this film altho i thought there was a few bits that went too far like the one bit where he talks about the 7 year olds bum that was totally shocking and am suprised was allowed to be said even one of my brothers crude mates were really shocked altho most of the film was good a few bits were shocking
Dodgeball, The Three Amigos, Ghostbusters, Emmanuelle, all Police Academy, Johnny English.

Good Morning Vietnam and Me, Myself and Irene. I never got to the end of either of them. There's Something About Mary is extremely overrated.
Cable Guy is a brilliant film. Very underrated. It is not meant to be slapstick funny. There's a sadness to the humour, if that makes any sense at all! :)

He's gone downhill but was great in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Trains, Planes and Automobiles.

This has to be 'To Be or Not To Be' in the early 80s with Mel Brookes. It was bad. Don't know what possessed me and my friend Lorna to go and see that one!!

There are probably plenty, but in recent memory: "Meet the Spartans." I also don't usually mind the genre-spoof films, but that one was criminal.
Run Fat Boy Run, Yes waste of money yes
sorry but that film for me was good
