Many many thanks to all of you for this wonderful opportunity to experience so many feelings thru your incredible photography. I came on the forum to look into the Genealogy section but instead spent the time enjoying such awesome photos. Having never set foot in my ancestral homeland this proves to be a very nostalgic journey and I was ready for a good chuckle with the man,dog and lorry pic. :lol:

Hi Chris, try this link http://www.geograph.org.uk/ to see photographs of Wick, Thurso, the countryside in Caithness, all of Scotland or all of the British Isles. It is a great site, full of photographs taken by people just like our orgers using grid references etc., to pin point where they were taken. A good way of passing a Sunday afternoon; enjoy!:)
