murdoch ross macgregor

I am researching a line of my ancestors and am chasing further info about Murdoch Ross Macgregor's siblings, if any, and who his parents were.

He was born 1865 Lybster, Caithness and immigrated in 1883 to Mackay Qld on the Scottish Wizard, marrying a few years later to Catherine Angus, also from Caithness. According to another kind lady, he was listed in UK 1881 census as a message boy at David Crombie's house. I don't know what town Crombie's house was in.

I would appreciate any help as I am stumped! Thankyou.

I have Murdoch's parents as Hugh McGregor/McGrigor and Margaret Ross. They had eleven children. I'll send you the info off line.

Hi,
I was suprised to see this post - I have been trying to find descendants of Murdoch and spoke to one only the day before I saw this post!
I have done quite a bit of research and can give you some info. Whats more I am descended from Murdochs brother George.
Please get in contact. Would love to know more and have plenty to pass on!
PS there were actually 12 kids - one born just prior to registration.
