her cat has a wee teddy (shaped as a rabbit)
she says its jus called a rabbit!!! as a teddy is shaped like a bear
i call it a teddy!!!
SO, is it a teddy or a rabbit toy thing???
a rabbit cuddly toy. I would agree a teddy is a bear.

Yip I would agree with the above...its a rabbit soft toy, a teddy bear is bear shaped and named after an American president....
Yup I have to agree with your mum there - if it's a rabbit shaped toy it's a rabbit. If it's a bear - it's a teddy!

With you being a Celtic fan, do you want it to be a "teddy bear" ? lol
After all thats a nickname for the mighty Rangers!
I would think its a cudly toy.
Heres a bit from wikipedia makes you think about the roots of the word Teddy bear.
The name Teddy Bear comes from one of American President Theodore Roosevelt's hunting trips to Mississippi. There were several other hunters competing, and most of them had already shot something. A suite of Roosevelt's attendants, lead by Holt Collier,[1] cornered, clubbed, and tied to a willow tree an American Black Bear after a long exhausting chase with hounds.
A teddy is a bear.
I miss my Mr Rabbit though.....
