I still have quite a few blooms on my Rhodies, aren't they just lovely!

Love the colour of the blooms on yours porshiepoo - I have a few different coloured ones, but none that colour.

Most blooms on my Rhodedendrons are past their best, but here's one I took from a couple of years ago with a Common Carder bumblebee homing in for a feed.

Thanks North Light. This is one of a few photos I've taken of bumblebees that the Bumblebee Conservation Trust have used in their publications. Just goes to show that a bit of perseverence and some luck can on occasion yield surprisingly good results.:D
