We're so lucky to get some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets here in Caithness.
This image of the rays as the sun came up, particularly impressed me. I really didn't think I'd be able to catch what I was seeing in time.

This sunset was taken from my back door, in the same position as I was for the sunrise, just facing West instead of East.
