The Wedding Hat - 2 versions

The day began with much formality. The Scottish hat was a huge success. Even the two gals from England wore appropriate head coverings.

But as the night wore on my 14 year old nephew decided that he wanted to get into the act and proceeded to steal the show.

Canuck, just as I predicted in my Haiku of May 12th, you looked charming and so elegant! It's a lovely hat on a lovely lady, and Royal Blue is definitely your colour. It really becomes you! :D

Canuck wore an outfit of Royal Blue
She looked so becoming in that regal hue
Her white brimmed hat framed her lovely face

I tried singing this to "Oh for a thousand tongues" tune and it works quite well. So I guess that is the what you've set it too. Good one.

And Canuck, your hat and feathery thing look really lovely. And your nephew is quite a cutie, I have a 13 yr old niece who would agree, lol.

Nice hat...on you and your nephew! The photo of him in your hat had me laughing, remembering that my son did the same thing a few years ago. I'll have to see if I can find that photo lol.
