we have a Phormium (i have been told this is what it is!) in our back garden that we need to move as it's getting too big and shading our patio.
here's a link to the website who identified it for me and shows a pic of it.

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/852713/

it's about 4 foot tall and about as wide again.
it's a great looking plant and would be a shame to just 'get rid' of it.
i would help with digging it up,removing it and transporting if necessary.
the beer in the pic, is to give an idea of scale !
pm me to come and get it or have a look, see what you think.

Hold on a minute. This is a really dry May. There is no way you can successfully shift this Phormium now. September at the earliest, and October would be better. Please don't kill this much-photographed plant. Have patience.

Sorry to be the prophet of doom of the Phormium shifting front, but can I just thank you for your kind words on the new website. Jake-the-Dog is chuffed to bits!
