View Full Version : what can I do with this bit of my garden?

its roughly 6' wide x 12' long and used to have some awful bushes growing there. We ripped out all the bushes last year and laid old carpets over to kill off roots/weeds etc.

We have to leave a space at the back for access to the rear of the garages should the housing authority require it.

Looking for ideas as to what we can do with it that won't cost an arm and leg - my preference would be to build a retaining wall at the back and pour concrete over it but thats pretty boring

Granite chips with a couple of potted plants strategically placed, sorted.

How about nice big pots of herbs , i love herbs and they make a display all on thier own.Iv got big pots outside my front door where there was a funny shaped bit, it looks great.

remove all the rubble turn it over, runs bags of compost through it and get it ready for planting some beuatiful flowers..You have a white wall behind and can plant some gorgeous cloured flowers to enhance that corner..
