View Full Version : department of child health
This might sound silly but I got a letter telling me to take my 4 year old son for a sight test at "the department of child health" in Wick.
There is no address but i assume it is CGH, am I right???
I know it sounds silly but there is no address!!! :)
Try phoning the health visitors on 604134 they should keep you right. :)
Seems silly there is no address though !
I think that is the old medical centre at the back, possibly!?!? Just phone the hospital reception 605050 and they will know exactly cos it may be in outpatients!
When I had to take my son for his eye tests about 1.5 years ago, it was in the hospital.

When my lot had this eye test it was done in out patients Caithness General. :D
Thanks to all who replied.
Called hospital and was told it "may be the old medical centre but I am not sure".
Still no further forward but hopefully will get to speak to someone at CGH who knows these things!!!!! :(
The dept of child health is in the old medical centre, it's the door round at the back of the building. It's signposted at the end of the car park in the old medical centre grounds.
