Alexander Miller, a cooper, married Margaret McIver in Wick 1 April 1809. They had 7 children: Janet, Helen(Ellen), William, Alexander, Margaret, Ann (Agnes), and Robert. Margaret McIver must have died before 1841 (not with them in census). Alexander died in 1872 at age of 86.
Daughter Helen married school teacher James Banks. Son Alexander married Anne Bruce. William MAY have married Anne Gunn. Margaret and Ann/Agnes became teachers. Fates of Janet and Robert are complete mystery to me. If you know of them I'd like to hear from you.
