View Full Version : A selection Part1
Here are a few shots taken over the last few weeks that appealed to me when I was trawling though the roughs.
First one of Thurso taken from Thurso East (while I was taking surfing shots - 400mm lens)

This one taken from Brims Ness (again on the surfing trail) I liked the light on the cliffs. (again the 400mm lens)

One more - Thurso harbour (and again the 400mm lens) Something about the upright green street lights appealed to me.

Those are all superb shots, Deemac, and I have especially enjoyed looking at this one of Thurso taken from Thurso East. I spot old St Andrew's church, the Sweyn Road flats, then St Anne's church and its manse behind it. Also the former Congregational church on Castle Street. Wonderful colour and light in this photo, and the one taken from Brims Ness!

Deemac,
The long focal length gives an interesting compression of perspective, I like No's 1 and 3, particularly No. 3 for its's colours, and the excellent effect of the green street lights.
