Thanks for sharing these. I used to live in Fairlie (just outside Largs) and went to Largs Academy (highschool) for a couple of years (a long, long time ago . . . . . ). My mother also lives in Largs. Good to see the old town.

At the official viewpoint there is a sort of navigational system that tells you by the means of an arrow what direction Glasgow is for example.Just by coincidence or a "higher power" mums ashes were scattered directly on the line that points to Glasgow,her home town.:D

Raven how to I correct the squint in the black and white photo of Millport view as it looks like the Clyde is flowing down hill.:lol:
It was so windy I could hardly stand,can see why a tripod is so useful now.
