Serves between 4 and 6 people
You will need:
1 kg Chicken breast
2 green peppers
60 g ginger
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
5 cloves of garlic
1 tbsl of tumeric
3 peeled plum tomatoes
1/2 tsp paprika
5 chopped green chillies
pinch if cinammon powder
2 large onions
2 tbsp garam masala
375 mls yoghurt
veg oil
fresh coriander
cut chicken into pieces
cook in veggie oil until golden and remove
fry the peppers in the oil
remove and put with chicken
Make your paste by blending the ginger, garlic, tomatoes and green chillies
finely chop onions and fry until brown
add the paste and salt, cinnamon, tumeric,chilli powder and paprika.
Cook out spices, they should change colour to a brownish colour.
Add the chicken and peppers and stir well
Cook for 5 or so minutes
slowly add yoghurt
simmer for 20 minutes, although check it regularly
Finish with chopped coriander.
