Where do you find your list of pop up blocked sites? I'm using windows vista with yahoo. Seems like I can hardly open a thing.

if you go to tools on the right hand side of your screen, has what looks like a cog wheel next to it..open that scroll down to pop-up blocker open and go to settings.......
or as i have just been informed any of the tool bars will allow you aaccess to your pop-up blocker menu....
Hope this helps.....

Well I thought I had it sussed but it's started again, I can't get onto links or things sent in emails such as photos. I've got it turned off in my yahoo home page but could it be something to do with windows?

What errors / messages / alerts are you getting?

It's a Windows Internet Explorer message that says
' The new window appears to have been blocked by a pop up blocker. For best results we recommend you add Yahoo Mail to your pop up blocker's list of allowed sites. Some pop up blockers will temporarily allow a window if you hold down the control key'

It happens with most links but I've discovered if I right click then left click they open. I've got the pop up blocker turned off.

You have the Internet Explorer pop-up blocker turned off (Start-.Control Panel->Security->Internet Options->Privacy and the 'Turn on Pop-up Blocker' unchecked?

Do you have any IE add-ons installed?

Any antivirus / antispyware / firewall software that has a pop-up blocker (if you're not sure which antivirus / antispyware / firewall software are you using)?

Any third-party pop-up blocker?

Unless something has gone very wrong with your IE / Vista, I doubt it's the built-in pop-up blocker that is causing problems if it's turned off.

Right for starters you need Firefox!

If it's an antivirus / antispyware / firewall or third party pop-up blocker, Firefox is unlikely to solve the problem. These apps either work by checking the traffic on port 80 (which Firefox also uses) or hook into the app itself and they should hook into a new browser.

If it is the built-in IE / Vista pop-up blocker that has gone mad or an IE add-on then it probably will fix the problem.

Probably need to know more though and sweetpea may not even like Firefox!
