Hi everyone,

We would like to announce that we have just finished recording five new future album tracks, and you can preview them now on our myspace page.

www.myspace.com/estrellarock (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://www.myspace.com/estrellarock)

We hope you like them as we have taken a slightly different direction with our new stuff and we would like to hear some honest feedback from anyone who likes a bit of good old-fashioned rock/blues.

Would like to thank everyone who came along to our gig in Skinandis last month. DJ Frantic has uploaded a video from the gig on Youtube for viewing at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_5b4gAWtdK0 (http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://forum.caithness.org/go.php?url=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_5b4gAWtdK0)

Cheers

Estrella

For me the vocals are just too low in the mix and the general instrument balance needs refined. Are these finished mastered tracks or demos? (they sound like rough demos to me).

Maybe I had an expectation that the mixes would be of a higher standard. For me, your live sound has much more energy and punch. (Sorry, but you did ask).:D

Thats cool Deemac. These are Live Demo recordings to showcase our new material and direction.

The low mix of vocals are actually being re-mixed soon and will be uploaded again.

The new tracks are certainly better than the sub-Y&T-album-filler tracks you've been peddling previously. Much better in fact.

Now get them recorded properly and let's see how they do. ;)

I did think I was hearing "the room" in the mix.

Keep up the good work boys. If you can just find that special something (!!) - you'll go far . . . . . .
