WILLIAM DUNNET

I am looking for any help with tracing William Dunnet, who is my ancestor, he is believed to have come from the caithness area but joined the army in Fort George in the 1820s.

The only information I have is that he married a Margaret Ewing in Dumbarton 0n 21 January 1826. His date of birth is unknown but estimated between 1795 and 1810.

Does anyone have any info or have him in their family tree, I seem to have come to a dead end with my research.

i have awilliam dunnet born 1805 to john dunnet and elizabeth millar probably born hempriggs wick caithness you will need to check out scotlands people and get birth cert etc to see if there is a connection. blossie
