I got 9/12. Comme ci, comme ca.

No too good, but no too bad either considering I'm not great at languages. I had a couple of lucky guesses and 3 unlucky/bad ones.

Mrs MacLean (nee Goldie) at THS wouldn't have been proud of me, but she might not have been too, too upset. Would she? :confused

Well, when you've finished the French lessons you can take the English (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4246472.stm), Maths (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4263590.stm), and Physics (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4308292.stm) tests. :lol:

I got 18/20, 20/20 and 9/10 respectively.

Yeah, I got a Physics one wrong (how embarrassing) -- I couldn't see how a smoke detector could work in the way I guessed, but the obvious type of radiation seemed a little dangerous to stick on your ceiling at home.

As for English, I mixed a metaphor with a simile, and I really did know how to spell a thingy with questions on it (honest guv), but I tried to use logic and got it wrong -- there's no much logic in English speling. :mad:

Too much time on my hands? Maybe, but, you gotta find something to do whilst waiting for the biggest(?) computer in Scotland to reboot for the umpteenth time...
