Reflections down at Scrabster Harbour last summer. I'm always looking for nice textures (they make great backings for montages/artwork etc.)

Top pic was tree trunks reflected in Wick river.....there was some water movement and I used the optical as well as the digital zoom......it reminded me of the "pop art" of the 60s!

Ah, I can see that now, before you said about the trees it didn't look like anything to me, other than a nice pattern, but now it's clear as crystal. :Razz

Well, it was just such a fantastic evening two days ago... not a breath of wind! After the beach we went up Dunnet Head and to my delight the little lochans lay there like mirros with a fantastic sky to compliment the serene scenery...

Thanks guys (that includes you girls). I just Picasa'd it. It came out ok so I'm quite pleased. It was'nt until I zoomed in (looking for eye clarity/focus) that I saw me looking back. :)

As we discussed on Monday, I was also on the beach but ended up near Castlehill Harbour for a short while.

Great reflections you've caught, and the clouds in the sky are beautifully moody.
