anyone that still cannot get a broadband service only has until 18th January to register with the Scottish Government Database of Broadband Demand:
On their website (http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/People/BroadbandforScotland/Register/broadbandsurvey) it includes the following information:
I SHOULD register my details here if…
* I am unable to get broadband and wish to register my details in connection with the Scottish Government's Broadband Reach Project.
* I have tried to order a broadband service at a Scottish address but have been told that it is UNAVAILABLE.
* My order for broadband at a Scottish address was accepted by my ISP but was unsuccessful in being provided.
* My broadband order at a Scottish address was refused due to there being no capacity left at my exchange.
If in doubt register, the last round of this exercise included supplying satellite service to some remote communities so there does appear to be a genuine desire to get everone connected that wants it!
