Children were given a glass of water and a biscuit as a treat for working hard and taking part in the christmas concert. This concert made hundreds of pounds for their school.[disgust]

Well i have to say, that is disgusting in this day and age. A can of juice and a packet of crisps would only have cost about 80p if that, and buying in bulk for all of them would probably have cost a good deal less. I don't think it would have broke the bank and i'm sure the kids would have loved the gesture as well. SCROOGE INDEED IS ALIVE AND WELL.:confused

In true Monty Python "poor yorkshireman" style:
...and they were lucky...
kids at Pennyland got nothing at all!

And here's you moaning the school provided kids with water and some poor wee souls got nothing.:~(
Terrible!
If they provided nothing you'd be saying, 'at least they could have given them a class of water'.
Seriously, at least they could have done was provided a carton of juice. Mean sods!

Maybe it is just another sign of x amount have allergies, x amount of parents do not let them have crisps or juice etc. Must be healthy eating in schools, sheesh what a world we live in.
