When I was a little girl my mother told me the surest way to avoid ladders in your tights was to rub a wax candle up and down your legs before pulling them on. Forty-two years later and my tights remain ladder free.
Does anyone else share my scepticism of the metric system?

I can sit and chop up a bag full of onions and my kids will ask me why i don't cry while doing it,well there is a knack to it

Breathe through your mouth not your nose!!

It really works and i never cry while chopping onions!!
