I want to locate descendants of this couple. I understand a couple of their children, 5 (?), emigrated, one to Canada and another to Illinois, USA, possibly in the 1930s. One is mentioned in Mary Ann's death registry -- Barbara Miller.
John, born about 1860, was a Police Constable and died prior to 1950. Mary Ann was the daughter of Alexander Henderson and Margaret McKay, born in Banniskirk, Halkirk, Caithness, Scotland in 1861 and died in 1954 in Thurso.
John and Mary Ann were living in Thurso in January, 1911 as that was mentioned in the will of her brother, Alexander Henderson, who died in Chicago, IL, USA at that time.
