Henderson / Morrison / Innes.

I am researching the following family:
Henry HENDERSON b: 1834 Reay, Caithness (m) Marrion MORRISON b: 1843 Eddrachillis, Sutherland. They married on the 06 Feb 1874.

Children:
Henry b: 25 July 1873
Catherine b: 1876
Elizabeth b: 25 March 1877
Marrion b: 1878
Williamina b: 1881
James b: 1882

Henry b: 1873, I believe was a Bard in Reay.

Elizabeth married a John Charles Weir INNES b: 1872 Halkirk, Caithness on the 27 June 1913.

Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.

Isobel, I had a look for a Marion/Merran Morrison being born in Eddrachillis around 1843 and didn't find one on the OPR film. At one time I believe Durness was included in Eddrachillis and then dealt with separately. Try looking for her birth in Durness or other parts of Sutherland through Freereg or Freecen.

A few years ago I did some research to locate a family in the USA. The 2nd wife of the patriarch was Marion Morrison Henderson, if I'm not mistaken. She was from Caithness and wrote poetry.
