View Full Version : DVD HDD Recorders.
My old video recorder is on it's last legs and I was thinking about going along to Lidls on Saterday and investing in some new technology. I've never had a DVD player and don't know anyone that's got a HDD recorder so I just wondered if anyone out there had one
if there are any problems with them and if they are worth the money.
Well i have a philips and have never had a problem with it .
And i would never be without it either :)

Is that one better than a Targa one from Lidls?
The specs are at http://www.targa.co.uk/cms/targa_2_646.php?produkt_id=367 but I haven't a clue what most of them mean.

The Targa one looks like it has a 120gb hard-drive, so it's got more recording time, and it's also got Dolby digital sound, so it looks better to me.
we bought a Panasonic last year with a 5.1 sound system and are very pleased with it. About 40 hrs recording time and superb sound. Twas over £700 but they've come down in price now I think. I think we bought from Pricerunner too, they were cheapest.
How much are Lidls selling the Targa DVD recorder for out of interest?
