Here I am on Dunnet Beach,
The surf is high today,
There's nothing like a scorrie's screech,
To blow my thoughts away.
I came down here to think a bit,
Of tales of woe and pride,
Told with local earthy grit,
Before the change of tide.
Tonight I sat and told my mam,
When I am old I'll have a bar,
Where folk can sit and buy a dram,
Beneath Pink Lippy's avatar.
I'm an orger and the drinks are on me. :D
