Can anyone help with any information at all on the following -
James Sutherland (b1891) in Wick (later known as David) married Hughina McKenzie on 13.12.1912. Hughina died in 1926.
Children below were all born in Wick.
Hugh (1914)
George (1914)
Margaret (1916)
David (1919)
John (1922)
Mary (1923)
Janet (1926)

Hi James,
James Sutherland (known as David by age of 10 years) is my grandfather and family knowledge and info confirmed at Register House, Edinburgh gives me the details as below. Also, after Hughina died (in 1926) my grandfather moved to Edinburgh with the children.
I can give you more details if required.
Fingers crossed some of this means something to you.

Could this be them?

Father: Thomas Sutherland b: 1855 in Halkirk Caithness c: 31 Oct 1855 in Westerdale Halkirk Caithness
Mother: Robertina Dewar b: 1863 in Bannockburn Stirling Scotland

Hi,
Unfortunately, no. His mother is definitely Margaret Sutherland & father unknown. Margaret later married a McAdie in 1895. We do have a belief that McAdie was actually his father.
