Something here for Horseman... an hour in Spring. May you have many.

TWO WISHES
by W.A.Cormack c. 1970

If to the fullness of my days
two other hours were gifted me -
two other hours I might relive
I'd pray that these two hours would be
The first, an hour I'd ask from Spring
an early hour soon after dawn
A glowing sun, a sky deep blue
Some trailing mist, grass drenched with dew
The time the earth's regarbed anew.
The second, were it in my power
to live again, I's ask an hour
from harvest time – the mystic light
When it's neither day or night
The sun just set, the moon's soft sheen
holding the balance in between
The hour on earth that's most serene
Those are the hours I'd ask you give
Those are the hours I'd ask to live.
