Sorry, but no, not in Scotland. Caithness is the home of my ancestors, so I find a special affinity in sharing.
All shots taken in Alberta, Canada.

I like the colours. I removed a fence post from the front of the photo but should maybe have tweaked the brightness up a little now that I look at it again.

Hello grumpyhippo - the second photo (leaves in the rock pool) captures the title of the thread for me. Heck, it really is autumn then? I thought it was just playing at the moment:cool:
Stunning pic grumpyhippo..would be proud to have that in my collection.
Real moody Moira loved 'em.
Thanks LIZZ - the "moodiness" was all down to the Sony Cybershot (idiot-proof, point & shoot). I couldn't begin to compete with some of the fantastic pics on this forum. I'll be contacting you for some gardening tips when I embark on my next project :D

Yup, excellent photos Raven, and very nicely presented. Maybe the last set could do with a touch more exposure, but that might ruin the feel of them.
They are all good pictures, but i loved the one's of the lanscape and sky Caithness.

Do you need another pile of leaves as if so I can oblige. What gets me is that the trees across the road are almost bare, appart frrom the evergreens, the garden shrubs are almost denuded as well so where do all the leaves keep coming from?

No thanks, had about a dozen or so others, and several more to come - the photo was taken some years ago, but thats where some of the leaves are from

Just love these shrubs that seem to glow with the low level light, sadly now half stripped of it's leaves and berries after the cold spell here.

I love that burn especially in spring when all the primroses are in bloom.

Just a slow exposure to blur things a bit,(it also disguises what is not the greatest lense in the world:lol::lol:).
Better late than never. Staying in topic here folks with snapshots of the changing seasons. The first photo here is for Canuck's Mum - the rest are especially for Lizz.
