Nope - this old saying derives from a time of Victorian modesty and prudishness. The way to a man's heart lies between his stomach and his kness. More than that I shall not say for fear of getting my knuckles rapped.
Do men have hearts then? ;) Maybe thats where I have been going wrong all the time....must try to cook more often!!:D x

Well spotted Moira!
Is the 'k' silent I wonder...
...if it is, then the home of a legendary monster springs to mind;).
my other half's favorite meal is corned beef hash :D
ooooh my hubby would pretty much eat anything but hmmm he is partial to a nice fillet steak or a nice piece of Halibut fillit
and heres me thinking it was through his heart by showing him appreciation, love and tenderness and the occasional romance, oh by the way romance DOES work both ways.
But a good meal always helps and the knee to stomach area is always a bonus too.
you always here about girlies moaning that the man isnt romantic enough, but do they ever actually return the favour?????? just a question no need for the nails and hairpulling :)

I'm very romantic! When my OH isn't at work! His knees are horrible though:D and I always set the alarm loud to wake him in the morning.[lol]
Is that romantic enough?
My wife says that she can sort me out with a good roast lamb dinner - she also says anything else is over rated.
Who says romance is dead.
