Have to go on a course at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and as i am paying for it myself does anyone know any decent priced places within walking distance of the hospital -want to take the missus and son as well if possible

Hi,

we usually stay at Holiday Inn Express, Theatreland which is city centre so not sure how close that is to royal infirmary. It's charged per room and your continental breakfast is included. Parking is at Buchanan galleries at a discounted rate for staying with express. There's usually "Leisure Saver Deals" through express website where your room will cost about £40 a night.

If you want cheap accommodation for the family close to the infirmary you could try Strathclyde Uni. It's dead central, only a few minutes walk away from the infirmary and Queen St Station and it's close to the M8 too. Link here (http://www.rescat.strath.ac.uk/village_accom.html).

The Holiday Inn Express on Nile St must be about 20 minutes walk from the infirmary.

http://www.glasgowapartment.co.uk/Forgot to say, this looks ok if you take the subway to Buchanan Street and walk the rest but it's too far to walk all the way. The other two are a lot closer. It's not far from yours truly though. ;)
