Still trying to trace my MacKays of Portskerray. Donald was a shepherd in Bighouse in the 1820s, woudl anyone know who owned the Bighouse estate at that time, and whether there are any surviving records?

Since my last post, I have been in touch with Strathnaver Museum, who told me that a previous estate owner (Katherine Wares?) kept the estate records for Bighouse, but they didn't have contact details. Does anyone know how I might get in touch with this lady?
