Right you guys who knows the law regarding a sign in a field for a B & B?
Can planning permission be avoided by putting the sign on wheels and making a movable or is this a thing that only applies in England?
All help gratefully appreciated many thanks

Not sure about this but I think the breadabane house hotel had to put their sign in an old cart. Maybe that's why there are signs on old bicycles chaned to poles further south.

I think the wheels thing applies here as well.
Best idea is to consult the law yourself, I think. Ever considered that?

if you want to erect a perminant sign you need planing permision
the signs on bikes thing is if you tie a sign onto posts by the road or railings belonging to the council they will be removed (some bylaw ) however it isnot breaking this law to chain wour bike to said signposts or railings and as this bike is yours you can attach a sign to it same as a trailor or a car if its yours you can write what you want on it
unless its slandorus and aslong as its in a road worthy condition or you can mount on a old car or trailor in a field but if asked you must be able to move it
