Health And Social Care Service Plan Approved By Highland Councillors
Highland Councillors on the Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Committee have welcomed and approved the Health and Social Care Service Plan for 2023/24. The plan's vision is: "for all of Highland's children, young people, families and adults supported by the Council to have the best possible outcomes in life; for Highland infants, children, and young people to have the best possible start in life...; and for supported adults to be assisted to stay safe and free from exploitation and to be supported where possible to live safely in the communities that they are part of." The vision will be delivered by tackling inequalities, providing love and support for Highland’s care experienced children and young people; promoting children’s rights and participation; ensuring good health and mental wellbeing for all; protecting and supporting those living in our communities and by working in partnership.
