Graphic in Taskbar

I have a pc running Windows 10, in the taskbar there a graphic next to the "Search" box which I don't like (see arrow), how do I get rid of it without losing the "Search" box, please?

what happens if you right clickit does it say unpin from taskbar?
what happens if you do remove the searchbar does it go too?

Thanks for that I tried that and found that when I unticked "Show search highlights" the icon disappeared, but left the search box.
