I've had my Tivoli One radio for 20 years and I'm reluctant to bin it. It works but needs a bit of TLC. Any of you teccies out there willing to have a look - radio ham maybe? Cheers.

It receives stations ok but there's a regular 'sputtering' sound, like interference. Cheers

well 1st of all rule out any signal reception issues.
take the radio outside, does it still do it?

could well be the radio sure but you also need to be mindful of in house digital interference.
things like wander home phones or even a differing broadband router have been known to sprog over DAB radios
another prime source of interference are these little mains plugin power supplies the give low volt DC to various appliances that run on 5v 12v or whatever, the Chinese stuff that power outdoor lights etc are very noisy.

not sure upon which model you have give us a clue. picture?
but if it needs a service, sure, quite easy but id rather not waste you money.

Many thanks. I'd checked interference previously, even turning off the fridge in an adjoining room and had convinced myself the radio was at fault. Took your advice and had another look. Turned out to be a broadband range extender plugged in behind some furniture. Happy days! Thanks again.
