I see there's a job advert for someone to play a coordination role in connecting schools to employers, somewhat in a fashion that the Prince's Trust does. It's a pretty comprehensive job description, and potentially some fairly weighty stuff. This person won't be a young and inexperienced dogsbody. Remuneration £25-£28k. They'll manage a team, earn over £10k less than a local college lecturer, support regional boards and the government. Is this a case of Caithness paying pennies for skills and experience simply because "traditionally" it is a low-pay area?
