Lawrie/Laurie family tree

Am new to this hobby and have just started a Laurie family tree. Has anyone come across Gilbert Laurie B. 1767 Thurso (married to Jean MacDonald) and indeed their family including my Gt Gt Grandfather Thomas Laurie B. 1792 Olrig, (D. Dunnet 1862?)?

Think I might be able to help. I have a Thomas Laurie, born 1796 in Olrig, died 1875 in Dunnet in my tree. He married Margaret Durran and they had 8 children. Their eldest child Margaret , born Dec 1826, married James Sutherland in1849 and they had 12 children, the youngest of whom Mary was my great grandmother!
