Caithness Beach Cleans has just reached a new total of 22 Tons of plastics removed from local beaches!
This has mostly been done by people going out for a walk and picking up from 0.5lb to 5lb of plastic on their walk. It is amazing how this mounts up.
The group has already removed over 1.25 Tons THIS year.
This is 21 Tons of plastic that is not going to be feeding/entangling/contaminating anything now.
