The Highland Council would like to thank householders who have purchased a Garden Waste Collection Service permit for 2020/21. The current permit started on the 1st of September and will run until the 31st of August 2021, with collections continuing until the end of November. Pity they didn't pick up the brown bin after the blue one ,which is full of paper,cardboard,plastic and packaging . If they don't want the county covered by recycleable waste why don't they pick the blue bin up first as on windy days the streets are knee deep in the stuff . Common sense ain't so common after all, then it's the council .
