Blair is on his farewell trip,
As Gordy Brown waves toodle pip,
Oor Wee Eck has displaced Jack,
So Kirsty Wark might get the sack.

Dirdy Weekers shop at Tesco,
Freezin' drinkers smoke al fresco,
Windmills try to grow at Spittal,
Who says things have changed so little?

Changes good and changes bad
Lots of both here to be had,
Cheaper flights but more pollution
Can we find a good solution?

Public transport, yes indeed
Gets me round at quite a speed,
Buses, trains and maybe trams
Help reduce these traffic jams.

Turn off all remotes and lights
Never more boil wash my whites,
Compost veg, teabags and peelings
Still get all these guilty feelings...

Papers, glasses, bottles too,
Separate, recycle, do!
But yet I feel I should do more
Yoghurt pots I bin galore!

Plastics are just such a pain
Everywhere they still remain,
Junk mail comes with every mail
In quantities I do bewail...

I am not yet quite green enough
But some days it feels quite tough,
Please help me work out what to do
So I'll take on a greener hue!
