Can you not just tell that Ms Wark is a long-time Labourette?

The bemused look on Salmond's face at times is priceless. Background is that Tony Blair, while in Libya, signed an agreement with the Libyans for them to release prisoners (inc. Bulgarian nurses and some doctors accused of spreading HIV) in return for Libyan prisoners held in the UK being released.
The Libyans say that includes Ali Whossisname-Basset, who bombed the 747 which crashed on Lockerbie. Downing Street say woops, no it doesn't.... because of course Scotland has its own parliament and legal system. The fact that Mr Bassett seems to be the only Libyan of any note at all held in the UK is coincidence.
The agreement has been withheld from the House of Commons for 10 days; looks as though El Presidente Grosso y Magnifico Blair has made a bit of a misjudgement and is trying to wheedle his way out of it.
Anyway, enjoy. The BBC has been forced, apparently, to apologise  for the style of the interview. The Unsinkable Kirsty may be sunk.... oh, shame.
