Yarrows Wind Farm back again

This is definitely as dumb a place as you could find for a wind farm. Again, teh local Community Council ( Tannach & District) refused to hold a meeting, or even attend the one that was called independently of them.

The whole thing has been readvertised, as they somehow forgot to include three documents with the original application.
This is the third time it has been advertised, and they will have to do it again next year to take account of a migrant bird survey that they couldn't be bothered to do last time either.

This plan is a disgusting insult to a very special area, and everyone should oppose it - write to HC at Glenurqhuart Rd Inverness to object to this.
Incidentally, I thout the Community Councils had decided to object to all hilltop sites - what happened to that idea???

What an incompetent lot they are, or are they so arrogant they think they can get away with doing the barest minimum and still get their windfarms 'rubber stamped' as the Spittal Hill developer bragged one day.
I was speaking to some friends from 'down south' the other day and told them about the plan for a windfarm near the Yarrows archeological trail. They couldn't believe how this could ever come about - lets hope Highland Council think the same and chuck this proposal in the bin where it belongs!
