Help downloading msn(active X)

Help i tried to download msn but a pop up comes up saying your current security setting prohibits running Active X controls on this page. Help

Hey WickChick - I assume you're using Internet Explorer?

Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.

Then go to the Security tab and click on Custom Settings.

Scroll down the list until you get to 'ActiveX Controls & Plugins'.

Set both 'Download signed ActiveX Controls' and 'Run ActiveX controls & Plugins' to prompt.

Click OK. Click OK again. Then restart Internet Explorer.

Had a problem like that a while ago turned out it was a virus in the end .Would not let active x controls work properly.

how did u solve it cause a virus detector keeps coming up saying a virus is trying to get in trojan horse

why not try the "download and install later" option, as far as I can see it does not use active x.
